Meet Liz
Liz lives in Newcastle with her husband, three children, and her adorable cavoodle, Banjo. She loves to read, paint, be in nature, and spend time with her friends and family.
Liz enjoys working with small businesses, editing and proofreading reports, websites, and other forms of written communication. She has also proofread theses in a variety of disciplines for PhD candidates at several Australian universities. More recently she has engaged in proofreading for fiction writers.

Your initial enquiry
When you get in touch with Liz, please provide as much information about your project as possible. This should include:
Type of proofreading required
Length of document (word length, page length)
Timeframe for turnaround (e.g. submission date)
Any questions you have
We’ll send you a quote
Once we review your requirements, we’ll send you a quote for the service. This will not be a contract or an invoice. It will be a calculated estimate of the total price for the enquired service. To find out more about working with editors and their rates of pay, please refer to the IPEd website.
We’ll get to work
Now it’s time to get to work. We will begin the proofreading as per our agreed schedule. Timely completion of your project is also dependent on you reviewing work and responding according to agreed timeframes.
Invoices will be sent as per the contract (e.g. monthly, or on the completion of the assignment).
